With the win, Nevada improves its record to 25-7 on the season. The Cubs travel to Ankeny (Ankeny, IA) to encounter the Hawks in a test on Saturday, October 5. The Hawks go into the test with a record of 26-4. Ankeny won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Dowling Catholic (West Des Moines, IA)

The Wildcats now own a 17-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to AGWSR for a test on Saturday, October 5. Janesville will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to South Hardin (Eldora, IA). The Cougars record now stands at 9-14.
