In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Jeffers Jets volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Westwood Patriots.

The Jets (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Forest Park (Crystal Falls, MI). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 19-3 record. In their last challenge, Forest Park beat Munising (Munising, MI), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Patriots meet the Escanaba Eskymos (Escanaba, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 5. Westwood will attempt to upgrade on its 0-16 season record. The Eskymos come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Iron Mountain (Iron Mountain, MI).
