Westwood Rebels (Sloan, IA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Lawton-Bronson Eagles (Lawton, IA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Westwood improves its record to 16-8 on the season. The Rebels host Kingsley-Pierson (Kingsley, IA) to face the Panthers in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 8. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 6-16.

The Eagles now own a 3-22 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Red Oak for a test on Saturday, October 5. Lawton-Bronson will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Creston (Creston, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 10-14.
