In Saturday's league challenge, the host Pleasantville Trojans volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs.
The Trojans (19-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Earlham (Earlham, IA). The Cardinals enter the non-league challenge with a 12-9 record. In their last challenge, Earlham got by Madrid (Madrid, IA), 2-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs meet the Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks (Colfax, IA) in a challenge, on Saturday, October 5. Prairie City-Monroe will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Tigerhawks enter the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Sigourney (Sigourney, IA).
