In Saturday's league challenge, the host Roxbury Gaels volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the West Morris Central Wolfpack.

The Gaels (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Morristown (Morristown, NJ). The Colonials come into the non-league challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Morristown was nudged by Sparta (Sparta, NJ), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wolfpack play the Bogota Buccaneers (Bogota, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 7. West Morris Central will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Eastern Christian (North Haledon, NJ).
