Kansas High School Volleyball - Skyline tips Sterling

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Skyline Thunderbirds volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Sterling Black Bears.

The Thunderbirds (22-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Stafford (Stafford, KS). The Trojans come into the Heart of the Plains challenge with a 5-17 record. In their last challenge, Stafford was nudged by Central Christian (Hutchinson, KS), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Black Bears play the Wichita HomeSchool Warriors (Wichita, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, October 6. Sterling will attempt to upgrade on its 11-16 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 26-10 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Canton-Galva (Canton, KS).
