In Saturday's league match, the Washington Academy Raiders (East Machias, ME) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting Yarmouth Clippers (Yarmouth, ME), by a final score of 3-0.

Next up, the Raiders confront the Brewer Witches (Brewer, ME) in a Class B match, on Tuesday, October 8. Washington Academy will attempt to advance on its 11-0 season record. The Witches enter the match with a 4-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Brunswick (Brunswick, ME).

The Clippers (8-2) will now prepare for their match against Gorham (Gorham, ME). The Rams enter the non-league match with a 8-2 record. In their last match, Gorham gained a win over Biddeford (Biddeford, ME), 3-0, in a league match.
