The Butler Bulldogs football team (Augusta, GA), was ripped 61-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Thomson Bulldogs (Thomson, GA)

The Bulldogs (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Laney (Augusta, GA). The Wildcats come into the AA Region 4B challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, Laney trounced Josey (Augusta, GA), 22-6, in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Washington County for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 21. Butler will meet a Golden Hawks team coming off a 35-3 league win over Westside (Augusta, GA). The Golden Hawks record now stands at 2-5.
