The Highland Hornets topped the visiting Valencia Jaguars volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Hornets now have a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grants for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 11. Highland will confront a Pirates team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Pirates record now stands at 8-4.
The Jaguars (9-3) will now prepare for their test against Chaparral (Chaparral, NM). The Lobos enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Chaparral was knocked off by Loretto (El Paso, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.
