New Mexico High School Soccer - Albuquerque Academy knocks off Valley

Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team overwhelm the host Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM), 14-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Chargers confront the Hope Christian Huskies (Albuquerque, NM) in a 4A District 6 challenge, on Monday, October 10. Albuquerque Academy will attempt to better on its 10-4 season record. The Huskies enter the challenge with a 16-0 record after their 11-0 league win over Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM).

The Vikings now have a 2-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Highland for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 12.
