Northern Adirondack Bobcats (Ellenburg Depot, NY) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Lake Placid Bombers (Lake Placid, NY), 3-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Bobcats confront the Chazy Eagles (Chazy, NY) in a Northern challenge, on Friday, October 7. Northern Adirondack will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 2-0 league win over Moriah (Port Henry, NY).

The Bombers now have a 0-11 record. They take the field next when they host Saranac Lake for a Northern challenge on Friday, October 7. Lake Placid will confront a Red Storm team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Seton Catholic Central (Plattsburgh, NY). The Red Storm record now stands at 3-7.
