The West Springfield Spartans held off the visiting Alexandria City Titans volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Spartans now have a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Potomac for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 18.
The Titans (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Lake Braddock (Burke, VA). The Bruins enter the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Lake Braddock held off Fairfax (Fairfax, VA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
