The CORE Butte Lynx topped the host Biggs Wolverines volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's league test.

The Lynx now have a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maxwell for a test on Tuesday, October 11. CORE Butte will confront a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Williams (Williams, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-8.

The Wolverines (1-7) will now prepare for their test against Hamilton (Hamilton City, CA). The Braves enter the test with a 16-1 record. In their last test, Hamilton gained a win over Los Molinos (Los Molinos, CA), 2-0, in a league test.
