North Carolina High School Volleyball - Cannon edged by Covenant Day

The Covenant Day Lions volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Cannon Cougars to 1 in the Lions league victory on Thursday.
The Lions now have a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Providence Day for a non-league game on Tuesday, October 11. Covenant Day will meet a Chargers team coming off a 2-0 league win over Cannon (Concord, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 1-2.
The Cougars (5-7) will now prepare for their game against Charlotte Latin (Charlotte, NC). The Hawks enter the game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Charlotte Latin was nudged by Covenant Day (Matthews, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
