The Montgomery Central Timberwolves volleyball team (Troy, NC), was edged 2-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC)

The Spartans (11-9) will now prepare for their challenge against South Davidson (Denton, NC). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 1-15 record. In their last challenge, South Davidson was edged by East Davidson (Thomasville, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
