North Carolina High School Volleyball - Holmes over Currituck County

Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC), 2-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Aces battle the First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, October 11. Holmes will attempt to move on its 15-2 season record.

The Knights (7-8) will now prepare for their game against Manteo (Manteo, NC). The Redskins enter the non-league game with a 7-5 record. In their last game, Manteo defeated Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC), 2-1, in a non-league game.
