The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the San Jose Bulldogs (San Jose, CA) and the visiting Live Oak Acorns (Morgan Hill, CA), saw San Jose's volleyball squad nip Live Oak by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, San Jose upgrades its record to 10-3 on the year. The Bulldogs host James Lick (San Jose, CA) to play the Comets in a bout on Tuesday, October 11. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 0-2. James Lick lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Independence (San Jose, CA)

The Acorns now own a 1-4 record.
