In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Midway Raiders volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the St. Pauls Bulldogs.
The Raiders (14-2) will now prepare for their battle against Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC). The Colts come into the non-league battle with a 12-0 record. In their last battle, Cape Fear defeated Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Bulldogs encounter the Clinton Dark Horses (Clinton, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 11. St. Pauls will attempt to move on its 3-11 season record. The Dark Horses come into the battle with a 13-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Red Springs (Red Springs, NC).
