The Murphy Bulldogs volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Swain County Maroon Devils to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now have a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Andrews for a non-league game on Tuesday, October 11.
The Maroon Devils (6-8) will now prepare for their game against Cherokee (Cherokee, NC). The Braves enter the game with a 7-11 record. In their last game, Cherokee dropped by Hayesville (Hayesville, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
