The New Kent Trojans prevailed the host Smithfield Packers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Trojans now have a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lafayette for a test on Monday, October 10. New Kent will confront a Rams team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Tabb (Yorktown, VA). The Rams record now stands at 3-7.
The Packers (0-9) will now prepare for their test against York (Yorktown, VA). The Falcons enter the non-league test with a 5-8 record. In their last test, York dropped by Poquoson (Poquoson, VA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
