With the win, Thomas Jefferson upgrades its record to 6-9 on the year. The Gryphons host Cherryville (Cherryville, NC) to play the Ironmen in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 11. The Ironmen go into the bout with a record of 4-14. Cherryville lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC)

The Golden Lions now own a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to R-S Central for a non-league bout on Monday, October 10.
