The crowd at Thursday's league test between the John Paul II Catholic Saints (Greenville, NC) and the host Epiphany Falcons (New Bern, NC), saw John Paul II Catholic's soccer squad knock off Epiphany by a count of 3-0.

The Saints now hold a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Arendell Parrott Academy for a NCISAA Coastal Plain test on Monday, October 10. John Paul II Catholic will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Wayne Country Day (Goldsboro, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 8-8.

With the loss, Epiphany drops to 9-6 on the season. The Falcons host Gramercy Christian (Newport, NC) to meet the Warriors in a non-league test on Friday, October 7. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 3-7. Gramercy Christian lost 6-1 in their recent league test against Community Christian (Wilson, NC)
