La Salle Institute Cadets (Troy, NY) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Lansingburgh Knights (Troy, NY), 10-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Cadets confront the Waterford-Halfmoon Fordians (Waterford, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 10. La Salle Institute will attempt to move on its 9-2 season record. The Fordians enter the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Mayfield (Mayfield, NY).

The Knights now possess a 0-13 record. They take the field next when they host Albany Academy for Boys for a Colonial Council challenge on Tuesday, October 11. Lansingburgh will confront a Cadets team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Ichabod Crane (Valatie, NY). The Cadets record now stands at 7-4.
