West Virginia High School Soccer - Mercer Christian Academy held off by PikeView

The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the PikeView Panthers (Princeton, WV) and the visiting Mercer Christian Academy Cavaliers (Princeton, WV), saw PikeView's soccer squad get by Mercer Christian Academy by a count of 3-2.

The Panthers now hold a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Logan for a non-league test on Saturday, October 8. PikeView will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Cross Lanes Christian (Charleston, WV). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-10.

With the loss, Mercer Christian Academy drops to 11-5 on the season. The Cavaliers host Shady Spring (Shady Spring, WV) to meet the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, October 7. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 8-4. Shady Spring won 6-1 in their recent non-league outing against Scott (Madison, WV)
