Colquitt County Packers (Norman Park, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Richmond Hill Wildcats (Richmond Hill, GA), 12-1 in a league challenge.

The Packers now own a 20-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tift County for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 10. Colquitt County will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 15-8 non-league win over Cairo (Cairo, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 13-13.

With the loss, Richmond Hill falls to 8-13 on the campaign. The Wildcats host South Effingham (Guyton, GA) to face the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 11. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 21-4. South Effingham won 1-0 in their recent league challenge against Effingham County (Springfield, GA)
