The Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Jenkins County War Eagles to 0 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Emanuel County Institute moves its record to 19-4 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Tattnall Square Academy (Macon, GA) to play the Trojans in a non-league game on Tuesday, October 11. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 23-4.

In their next game, the War Eagles play the Burke County Bears (Waynesboro, GA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, October 11. Jenkins County will attempt to move on its 6-11 season record. The Bears come into the game with a 13-13 record after their 8-0 league loss to Islands (Savannah, GA).
