In Thursday's league contest, the Lassiter Trojans (Marietta, GA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Roswell Hornets (Roswell, GA), by a margin of 12-0.
With the triumph, Lassiter moves its record to 18-5 on the year. The Trojans travel to North Paulding (Dallas, GA) to play the Wolfpack in a non-league contest on Monday, October 10. The Wolfpack come into the contest with a record of 20-2. North Paulding won 15-11 in their recent league contest against Harrison (Kennesaw, GA)
In their next game, the Hornets play the Blessed Trinity Titans (Roswell, GA) in a 6A Region 7 contest, on Tuesday, October 11. Roswell will attempt to move on its 8-15 season record. The Titans come into the contest with a 11-13 record after their 9-8 non-league win over Chattahoochee (Alpharetta, GA).
