Georgia High School Softball - Mt. Zion bounces Woodward Academy

Mt. Zion Eagles (Mt. Zion, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Woodward Academy War Eagles (College Park, GA), 10-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 8-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Callaway for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 12. Mt. Zion will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Eagle's Landing Christian Academy (McDonough, GA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 12-14.
With the loss, Woodward Academy falls to 14-10 on the campaign.
