The South Creek Cougars volleyball team (Robersonville, NC), was nudged 3-2 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Bertie Falcons (Windsor, NC)

The Falcons (1-11) will now prepare for their challenge against North East Carolina Prep (Tarboro, NC). The enter the Four Rivers 1A challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, North East Carolina Prep was nudged by Riverside-Martin (Williamston, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars encounter the Washington County Panthers (Plymouth, NC) in a Four Rivers 1A challenge, on Monday, October 10. South Creek will attempt to move on its 4-12 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Gates County (Gatesville, NC).
