In Thursday's league contest, the Florence Christian Eagles (Florence, SC) volleyball squad were winner over the host Carolina Academy Bobcats (Lake City, SC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Eagles face the Thomas Sumter Academy Generals (Dalzell, SC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 8. Florence Christian will attempt to better on its 18-1 season record.

With the loss, Carolina Academy moves to 2-2 on the year. The Bobcats host Christian Academy (Myrtle Beach, SC) to play the Saints in a SCISA AA Region IV bout on Tuesday, October 18. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 10-4.
