The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Holyoke Purple Knights (Holyoke, MA) and the visiting Central Golden Eagles (Springfield, MA), saw Holyoke's volleyball squad nip Central by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Holyoke upgrades its record to 5-3 on the year.

The Golden Eagles now own a 10-3 record. They play next when they host Commerce for a non-league bout on Friday, October 7. Central will play a Red Raiders squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Paulo Freire Social Justice Charter School (Holyoke, MA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 7-3.
