North Carolina High School Volleyball - Polk County over Chase

October 6, 2022: Columbus, NC 28722

In Thursday's league contest, the Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Wolverines battle the East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC) in a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A contest, on Tuesday, October 11. Polk County will attempt to better on its 18-1 season record. The Cavaliers go into the contest with a 12-8 record after their 3-2 league loss to R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC).

With the loss, Chase moves to 2-13 on the year. The Trojans host Patton (Morganton, NC) to battle the Panthers in a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A contest on Tuesday, October 11. The Panthers go into the contest with a record of 11-5. Patton lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Brevard (Brevard, NC)
