Next up, the Cobras battle the Grundy Golden Wave (Grundy, VA) in a Black Diamond contest, on Tuesday, October 11. Council will attempt to better on its 3-9 season record. The Golden Wave go into the contest with a 8-3 record after their 3-2 league loss to Honaker (Honaker, VA).

With the loss, Hurley moves to 0-7 on the year. The Rebels host Mount View (Welch, WV) to battle the Golden Knights in a non-league contest on Wednesday, October 12. The Golden Knights go into the contest with a record of 4-4.
