North Carolina High School Volleyball - Currituck County over Holmes

October 6, 2022: Edenton, NC 27932

Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC), 3-1 in a league match.

Next up, the Knights clash with the Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC) in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A match, on Friday, October 7. Currituck County will attempt to advance on its 11-8 season record. The Redskins come into the match with a 11-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC).

With the loss, Holmes drops to 7-12 on the campaign. The Aces travel to First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC) to clash with the Nighthawks in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A match on Tuesday, October 11. The Nighthawks come into the match with a record of 10-7. First Flight won 3-0 in their recent league match against Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC)
