Nebraska High School Volleyball - David City can't hold off Fairbury

The David City Scouts volleyball team (David City, NE), was edged 2-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Fairbury Jeffs (Fairbury, NE)

The Jeffs (14-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Sutton (Sutton, NE). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 17-2 record. In their last challenge, Sutton nudged Thayer Central (Hebron, NE), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Scouts encounter the Heartland Huskies (Henderson, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 11. David City will attempt to move on its 10-8 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 13-12 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Friend (Friend, NE).
