The East Wake Warriors volleyball team (Wendell, NC), was dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Fike Demons (Wilson, NC)

The Demons (10-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Southern Wayne (Dudley, NC). The Saints enter the Quad County 3A challenge with a 8-9 record. In their last challenge, Southern Wayne was dropped by C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Warriors meet the South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) in a Quad County 3A challenge, on Tuesday, October 11. East Wake will attempt to move on its 2-17 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 12-7 record after their 3-1 league loss to Hunt (Wilson, NC).
