The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Ferndale Wildcats (Ferndale, CA) and the visiting Hoopa Valley Warriors (Hoopa, CA), saw Ferndale's volleyball squad beat Hoopa Valley by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Ferndale upgrades its record to 6-7 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Northcoast Preparatory Academy (Arcata, CA) to play the Heron in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 8. The Warriors now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to St. Bernard's for a Humboldt - Del Norte - Little 7 bout on Tuesday, October 18.
