New Mexico High School Volleyball - Grants crushed by St. Pius X

The St. Pius X Sartans topped the host Grants Pirates volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.

The Sartans now have a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belen for a 4A District 5 test on Tuesday, October 11. St. Pius X will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-1 league win over Highland (Albuquerque, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 7-8.

The Pirates (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Highland (Albuquerque, NM). The Hornets enter the 4A District 5 test with a 3-10 record. In their last test, Highland was knocked off by Valencia (Los Lunas, NM), 3-2, in a league test.
