The Herndon Hornets topped the visiting Wakefield Warriors volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.
The Hornets now have a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodson for a non-league test on Monday, October 10. Herndon will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 3-0 league win over South County (Lorton, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 7-5.
The Warriors (7-4) will now prepare for their test against McLean (McLean, VA). The Highlanders enter the PVAC test with a 3-10 record. In their last test, McLean was knocked off by Langley (McLean, VA), 3-0, in a league test.
