The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Hobbton Wildcats (Newton Grove, NC) and the visiting Lakewood Leopards (Roseboro, NC), saw Hobbton's volleyball squad beat Lakewood by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Hobbton upgrades its record to 5-9 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Union (Rose Hill, NC) to play the Spartans in a Carolina 1A bout on Tuesday, October 11. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 13-4. Union won 3-1 in their recent league bout against North Duplin (Calypso, NC)

The Leopards now own a 3-15 record. They play next when they host Neuse Charter for a Carolina 1A bout on Tuesday, October 11. Lakewood will play a Cougars squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 16-3.
