In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Parish Episcopal Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the John Paul II Cardinals.
The Panthers (11-4) will now prepare for their battle against Trinity Christian (Addison, TX). The Trojans come into the TAPPS 6A District 1 battle with a 3-15 record. In their last battle, Trinity Christian achieved victory over Nolan Catholic (Fort Worth, TX), 3-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Cardinals clash with the Ursuline Academy Bears (Dallas, TX) in a TAPPS 6A District 1 battle, on Tuesday, October 11. John Paul II will attempt to improve on its 15-9 season record. The Bears enter the test with a 14-14 record after their 3-2 league loss to Nolan Catholic (Fort Worth, TX).
