With the win, Sanger upgrades its record to 13-10 on the year. The Apaches host Edison (Fresno, CA) to play the Tigers in a CMAC/NYL bout on Thursday, October 13. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 8-18.

The Guardians now own a 6-14 record. They play next when they host San Joaquin Memorial for a CMAC/NYL bout on Tuesday, October 11. Justin Garza will play a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Redlands (Redlands, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 18-9.
