The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Kettle Run Cougars (Nokesville, VA) and the host Sherando Warriors (Stephens City, VA), saw Kettle Run's volleyball squad beat Sherando by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Kettle Run upgrades its record to 9-9 on the year. The Cougars travel to Millbrook (Winchester, VA) to play the Pioneers in a Northwestern bout on Tuesday, October 11. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 13-1. Millbrook won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Hedgesville (Hedgesville, WV)

The Warriors now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Fauquier for a Northwestern bout on Thursday, October 13.
