The Bruins (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Indian River (Chesapeake, VA). The Braves come into the Southeastern challenge with a 7-7 record. In their last challenge, Indian River went down by Hickory (Chesapeake, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cavaliers encounter the Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA) in a Southeastern challenge, on Tuesday, October 11. Lakeland will attempt to move on its 2-9 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Menchville (Newport News, VA).
