The Little Wound Mustangs volleyball team (Kyle, SD), was dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting St. Francis Indian Warriors (St. Francis, SD)
The Warriors (5-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Crazy Horse (Wanblee, SD). The Chiefs enter the non-league challenge with a 0-8 record.
Next, the Mustangs meet the Pine Ridge Thorpes (Pine Ridge, SD) in a A Region 7 challenge, on Tuesday, October 11. Little Wound will attempt to move on its 8-10 season record. The Thorpes enter the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Kimball/White Lake (Kimball, SD).
