The Wantagh Warriors volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Manhasset Indians to 1 in the Warriors league victory on Thursday.

The Warriors now have a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kellenberg Memorial for a non-league game on Saturday, October 8. Wantagh will confront a Firebirds team coming off a 3-0 league win over St. John the Baptist (West Islip, NY). The Firebirds record now stands at 28-2.

The Indians (0-2) will now prepare for their game against South Side (Rockville Centre, NY). The Cyclones enter the Section 8 A-1 game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, South Side gained a win over Wantagh (Wantagh, NY), 3-0, in a league game.
