Virginia High School Volleyball - Meridian can't hold off William Monroe

In Thursday's league battle, the host William Monroe Dragons volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Meridian Mustangs.
The Dragons (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Manassas Park (Manassas Park, VA). The Cougars come into the Northwestern battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Manassas Park nudged Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA), 3-2, in a league battle.
Next, the Mustangs clash with the Warren County Wildcats (Front Royal, VA) in a Northwestern battle, on Tuesday, October 11. Meridian will attempt to advance on its 4-10 season record.
