The Pekin Dragons held off the visiting Morton Potters volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Dragons now have a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Metamora for a Mid-Illini test on Tuesday, October 11. Pekin will confront a Redbirds team coming off a 2-0 league win over Canton (Canton, IL). The Redbirds record now stands at 20-3.

The Potters (11-11) will now prepare for their test against Normal University (Normal, IL). The Pioneers enter the non-league test with a 22-4 record. In their last test, Normal University held off Centennial (Champaign, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
