North Carolina High School Volleyball - Piedmont crushed by Sun Valley

October 6, 2022: Monroe, NC 28110

The Sun Valley Spartans topped the visiting Piedmont Panthers volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.

The Spartans now have a 20-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chapel Hill for a non-league test on Friday, October 7. Sun Valley will confront a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Riverside-Durham (Durham, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 19-2.

The Panthers (8-12) will now prepare for their test against Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC). The Mavericks enter the Southern Carolina 4A test with a 18-6 record. In their last test, Marvin Ridge gained a win over Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC), 3-0, in a league test.
