North Carolina High School Volleyball - Pinecrest over Scotland

In Thursday's league contest, the Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the host Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Patriots face the Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC) in a Sandhills 3A/4A contest, on Tuesday, October 11. Pinecrest will attempt to better on its 18-2 season record. The Bucks go into the contest with a 8-11 record after their 3-1 league loss to Union Pines (Cameron, NC).

With the loss, Scotland moves to 9-7 on the year. The Fighting scots travel to Lee County (Sanford, NC) to face the Yellow Jackets in a Sandhills 3A/4A contest on Tuesday, October 11. The Yellow Jackets go into the contest with a record of 8-8. Lee County won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Richmond (Rockingham, NC)
